Client : World Fair Trade Organization
I collaborated with the World Fair Trade Organization in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest, documenting the traditional practices of the native people as they harvested and cultivated medicinal herbs like cacao and the ancient Guayusa leaf. In addition to capturing media and branding content that showcases their ethical cultivation methods, I worked closely with the community to help them adapt to modern marketing and branding strategies for their products.
The Process
My role in this project was all-consuming, as I lived in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest for two months, immersing myself in the native people's practices to deeply understand their methods of cultivating medicinal herbs like cacao and Guayusa. With this knowledge, We crafted a simple yet organic-based design for their product branding that reflected the purity of their work. Through creative media, I showcased their efforts under the WFTO, illuminating not only their ethical harvesting techniques but also the immense power and vitality of the Rainforest. This project allowed me to blend cultural respect with innovative,
out of the box marketing strategies that brought their story to the global stage.
